| Write
an article for Kindred Spirit magazine
You
may have noticed that Kindred Spirit magazine publishes articles
penned by many different writers. Because of the diversity of the
subject matter contained in each and every issue of Kindred Spirit
it would be impossible for a team of in-house writers to produce
articles of the quality and depth that we insist upon.
Many of our contributors have a degree of expertise in their chosen
subject matter that has taken years to develop, so it makes perfect
sense for Kindred Spirit to make use of their knowledge,
even if their writing skills need a little honing.
Is there something
you wish to write about?
We are always on the lookout for new interesting work from freelance
writers, so if you have an idea for an article then do let us know.
How to send us your
magazine article proposal
- FIRSTLY PLEASE PRINT AND READ OUR GUIDELINES FOR WRITERS.
- It is easier for us to assess an article that
is already written rather than discussing outline proposals, so
please send your finished work if possible. However, we will consider
outline proposals if circumstances do not allow a finished article
to presented straight way.
- Please send your article by email if possible
as this is the easiest means of communication.

'Readers' Writes' web articles
The articles featured here
in the Readers' Writes section of the website are some of those
that we felt were worthy of publication for one reason or another
but not quite suitable for inclusion in the magazine itself. There
are many reasons why an article is deemed unsuitable, and it certainly
does not mean that they are necessarily of a lower standard.
For many people the chance of having an article posted on a popular
website with high traffic is incentive enough to start putting ideas
to paper. We hope you do.
Please follow the same guidelines
to submit an article - we'll quickly let you know that it arrived
safely, and whether we feel it is suitable for publication either
in the magazine or on the web - or whether we can't use it at all.
As they say in the movies: 'Don't call us, we'll call you'! We very
much appreciate everyone's efforts in sending in their work but
sadly we haven't the time to engage in lengthy dialogues concerning
the merits of every article. Where we can help, we shall, but please
don't expect us to assess your work in detail.

The views
expressed in articles and poetry presented on the Readers' Writes
or Devil's Advocate pages (or elsewhere on the Kindred Spirit
website) are not necessarily those of the Kindred Spirit team.
Articles are printed here in good faith for the common good of
sharing views within an open forum.
Do you write poetry?
Since the very beginning, Kindred
Spirit magazine has published a page of readers' poetry each
issue, and now with the development of the website we feel it is
time to move this feature to where it can truly blossom and grow.
Please feel free to send us
your poetry - we can't guarantee to post everything we receive onto
the Readers' Writes pages but we look forward to hearing from all
you 'kindred spirits' who feel moved to share through the wonderful
medium of words.
