The Heretic’s Guide to Vegan Cookery Andy Murray (The Good Elf Press, £12.99) [FOUR STARS] How does Andy Murray’s latest book stand up in an already super competitive vegan book market? Well, despite its rather strange styling and feel with its fully black and white interior, this cookbook does its best to break away from the norm by offering that something different...
Developing Mediumship Gordon Smith (Hay House Publishing £12.99) [FIVE STARS] Having done the workshop of the same title with Gordon, I wish I'd read this wonderful book first as it's an ideal preparation for those new to mediumship as well as a great refresher to back up the workshop.
The Keeper Natasha Mostert (Bantam, £6.99) [three stars] This is a fun novel that will appeal for a spot of light summer reading on the beach. Mia Lockhart (you have to love the name) is a keeper; a woman from a matriarchal line that protect warriors through giving remote healing before they go into battle.
SPENT? End Exhaustion and Feel Great Again. Frank Lipman with Mollie Doyle (Hay House, £9.99) [Five stars] In Spent, Dr Lipman identifies the causes that lead to energy depletion such as stress, unexplained pain, insomnia and diets high in sugar and processed food. He then creates actions known as ‘Daily Beats’ to repair the stressed system - these simple actions are sleep, good nutrition, meditation, exercise and relaxation.
