The aim of meditation is to uncouple the mind from the engine of everyday ritual to enter a mental state where time is no longer relevant. From the ancient times music has been used to enter this mindset and many CDs on the market that promise to get you beneath the waters of consciousness faster than a submarine diving to avoid satellite radar. This CD helps with this process as well as – allegedly – guiding you to improved relationships, prosperity and heath. We need to play this CD to Gordon Brown and end the national debt then! Joking aside, the eight tracks are blended together like fine tea to arrive at a perfect mixture to allow you to close your eyes, breathe, chant, and enter a detached mental state. None of the tracks are shorter than nine minutes and so do not unduly disrupt your inner peace or journey. A well planned and executed CD. Ian Shirley
