Your Sun Sign Forecast for 2012
Our resident astrologer, Derek Hawkins, reveals what is in store for your sun sign in the coming year.
2012, the most talked about year in modern history is upon us. A lot of the speculation and predictions that abound have their roots in an interpretation of the Mayan calendar, which suggests that the Sun is completing a cosmic cycle and beginning a new one.
Looking astrologically at the 21stDecember 2012 (a popular date in predictions), I found there is a rare alignment of Jupiter in Gemini, Saturn in Scorpio and Pluto in Capricorn which forms a yod, or finger of fate in the heavens.
In the following forecasts, I discuss how best to respond to the influences of Jupiter and Saturn as they move into this once in a lifetime alignment with Pluto in December 2012. In combination these planets can provide great insights that affect us personally and globally. We may get answers to the important issues we face; how we can move forward, preserve life on this planet, and not only survive but prosper in these times of incredible challenge and change as a new world order is born?
The following forecasts are a general overview, but nonetheless I hope you will find them useful in making the most of the lessons and opportunities in 2012.
