Jupiter

 

2012 will very much be a year of two halves where the influence of Jupiter is concerned. Jupiter completes a transit of your house of finances and resources when it leaves Taurus and enters Gemini on 11^thJune. This is good news as it means you have the first half of the year for further development and progress. Taurus relates to personal finances and resources; the money you earn and other possessions including your natural talents and abilities.  Jupiter can help you to make more of what you have, and you should find that you have no trouble in reaping a just reward for the time and effort you put in. A step-by-step approach will serve you best, and although this is a good time to, do not overstretch your resources.

 

On 11^thJune Jupiter begins a year-long transit of Gemini, and this is going to benefit all forms of communication and learning. If you have been building your business under the Taurus influence, it may be time to print your flyers, join social networks, and let the world know what you are doing. If you have been attracted to a new area of learning or would like to add to the knowledge you already have, the presence of Jupiter in Gemini could be just what you need. Jupiter is in retrograde motion from 4^thOctober – 30^thJanuary 2013. This period can be used to return to a subject of interest you may have pursued in the past. You might also consider making changes in the areas of your life that have been neglected.

 

Saturn

 

Saturn entered Libra your opposite sign and the relationship area of your Solar chart on 29^thOctober 2009 and since then its influence will have been felt in all areas of relating and relationships, whether it be family, friends or people with whom you have contact through work or social involvement. Saturn last had this influence in your life in 1983. In 2012 it is completing the relationship lessons that began then and starting a new cycle of commitment. Although testing where relationships are concerned, Saturn imparts wisdom through the trials it brings. The confronting nature of Saturn’s influence may open your eyes to the ‘real’ situation, especially if you have been turning a blind eye to your problems. As with all planetary influences they do not run our lives for us, they present us with situations, but we must choose a response and define an outcome.

 

Saturn leaves Libra for Scorpio on 5^thOctober 2012 but before it does so, you will have plenty of time to reconsider your commitment to others, especially from 7^thFebruary – 25^thJune 2012 when Saturn is retrograde. Use this time to assess your needs where others are concerned and their expectations of you. It is easy to get stuck in the habit of doing things purely out of a sense of duty, rather than out of a genuine desire to help. Saturn teaches us response-ability - the ability to respond, to act because something feels right.

 

From 5^thOctober Saturn will be in Scorpio and this changing influence will support you where the needs of others are concerned, whether it be caring for the family or plying your trade. As the year ends you should have a greater understanding of how relationships work best for you.
