Jupiter

 

On 4^thJune 2011 Jupiter began a transit of Taurus which will complete in June 2012. The benefits of Jupiter can be expected to help you to build on your connections with the world around you. You may have joined groups or developed your social circles in other ways. This is a positive time when you may derive much satisfaction from keeping busy and being out and about. In fact you are unlikely to be content with simply staying at home. During this period you should find it easy to contribute to the causes closest to your heart and find plenty of opportunities to share your natural gifts. You may enjoy being generous with your time and energy, but don’t overdo it or you could find yourself feeling resentful and used.  Pacing yourself will help and like all good Cancerians, you will need to keep a balance between your home life and outgoing activities.

 

Jupiter enters Gemini on 11^thJune 2012 and this will bring a change of focus. This transit by the planet of opportunity is a prelude to its passage through your sign, which begins in 2013. While it is in Gemini, Jupiter will be working behind the scenes and perhaps inspiring you through your dreams; you may develop a new interest or have the desire to expand your existing knowledge. Jupiter is retrograde from 4^thOctober 2012 – 30^thJanuary 2013 and during this time you can work on formulating your plans and ideas. The placement of Jupiter in Gemini may at times cause you to feel overloaded and in need of time and space to clear your mind; this is when meditation may prove useful. 

 

Saturn

 

In October 2012 Saturn completes a cycle that began at the end of 2009.  Saturn is currently transiting Libra and the significance of this influence will be felt within the home and family - areas that are particularly important to you as a Cancerian. Saturn is helping you to establish a supportive environment, where caring and sharing are good foundations on which you build your life. At times it might be hard going and some commitments could weigh you down to the point where you feel restricted and unhappy. In these situations you will need a moment to reflect on the expectations you and others hold.   

 

From the 7^thFebruary – 25^thJune 2012 Saturn will be in retrograde motion and you can use this period to address any family or home issues. Success in terms of career may not be the most important factor in your world at this time, but be patient, as the foundations you are laying now will be an essential part of future successes. Knowing what supports you and how best to work in cooperation with others will be the reward for this time of learning under Saturn’s influence.  

 

Saturn enters Scorpio on 5^thOctober and the passage of Saturn through a fellow water sign is going to be a great help to you over the coming years. A time of maturity and with it an increase in confidence will be yours. It is time to own the qualities that make you the person you are, and as you do so you should find that you are able to succeed in all areas of your life.
