FIVE STARS
Sun of gOd (notice the capital ‘O’ meaning the One) is a book that fuses philosophy with spirituality – and succeeds. Sams’s belief is that consciousness is the vibrational DNA of the universe, and it’s this concept that runs throughout the book. It’s full of thought provoking questions, for example, is our Sun a conscious entity? Does a grain of sand have free will? Sams regularly discusses science and various religions, clearly stating his opinion that they are unwilling to compromise on their views on what god is. This book has changed me, I have to admit. I find myself showing gratitude for the not-so-simple things in life, like sunlight and the food I consume. If you’ve ever asked, ‘What’s life all about?’ I would recommend this book, but only because it challenges you with even more questions. After all, where’s the fun in answers? A charming and mind-altering book. Gavin Whyte
