Having done the workshop of the same title with Gordon, I wish I'd read this wonderful book first as it's an ideal preparation for those new to mediumship as well as a great refresher to back up the workshop. Now I have alone time to read, digest and practice the exercises used by Gordon himself a lot more has clicked into place in a practical sense as I can take each exercise at my own pace. It also helps that Gordon's great at myth-busting- I now know that there is no 'wrong way' to meditate or achieve various stages of psychic development so I've felt more relaxed and let what will be, be. True there's no substitute for sitting in Circle but I've noticed with practice I can really advance certain skills. The book is full of warm anecdotes, useful tips and insights and Gordon's humour always makes me smile. A great read for so many reasons! Joanne Hunt
