How does Andy Murray’s latest book stand up in an already super competitive vegan book market? Well, despite its rather strange styling and feel with its fully black and white interior, this cookbook does its best to break away from the norm by offering that something different. It’s a rather personal, tongue in cheek, trivia boasting 187 pages that creatively combines Murray’s extensive knowledge of vegan food with some hilarious diary styled Glastonbury notes. In terms of the recipes itself, it certainly does well combining foods you’d usually not have thought of putting together. Proving that vegan food need not be bland and rule-ridden, this book will educate, entertain and provide an enjoyable read for indulgent vegans and curious non-vegans alike. Vinny Maddage
