Super Consciousness by Colin Wilson

What a delight it is to have an intellectual giant such as Colin Wilson as an advocate for the existence of something beyond the material. Here he gives short shrift to those philosophers who ultimately argue for a depressing view of life. Wilson is an optimist and his sharp brain is put to work explaining why we should all be optimists too. The search for ‘peak experiences’ is one that we should all be on. If there is any shortcoming in this book it is that it does not state explicitly what one should do to get those peak experiences but the anecdotes and wider philosophical discussions will set you on the right path. Wilson has yet again given us a classic for the genre and one that is sure to be read and enjoyed for generations to come. An unequivocal thumbs up from us.
