The Courageous Dreamer

It is a relational, sustainable, ecological path of stewardship in contrast to the Western path that we have taken. The Western path of exploitation, of extractive technologies, of thinking that all the food in the world belongs to us, that we can take what we want without having any stewardship responsibilities is coming to an end. We have exhausted that mythology of the masculine. We have to come up with a new mythology that is sustainable and that can assure the future survival of humanity. I believe this is the mythology of the shamanic. I think it promises us a way to heal ourselves, to heal the earth, to free us into greater states of creativity and to allow us to dream our world into being instead of being a victim of a world that has been dreamt for us by a dying mythology. The shamanic path is a spiritual path.
